Writer, hermit, philosopher, muse. I take my direction from within, not from without, and on the whole this is a good thing.

My primary blog, which is sort of a catch-all of random postings and endless analysis of whatever subject I'm obsessed with at the moment, is Ramblings of a Bohemian Free Spirit on LiveJournal.  Here at Gaia, I have in mind to use my blog space to focus on spirituality and reflections on the inner life and my path so far.

In practice, I'll probably end up rambling as much here as I do over on LJ. ;-)  But I do like the Questions and Reflections here at Gaia, and so far those seem to be inspiring the majority of my blog posts.

In recent times I've been discovering that the power of positive thinking really is worth cultivating.  It doesn't always come naturally to me, but I'm working on it.  My interest is not so much in the “manifest a Mercedes Benz” angle but rather in manifesting a more peaceful, mindful, transformed inner life that will, in turn, have positive effects on my outer experience, and on the experiences of the people who interact with me.
